*Zoning Department Fees

​​Land Use Permits Fees

New Dwelling - $200.00
Additions: including garages, pole buildings and barns - $150.00

Accessory Structures:  sheds, porches, decks, fences, roadside stands, greenhouses, riprap, seawalls, solar panels - $100.00
Multi-Family: per dwelling unit - $150.00
Commercial - $250.00 first 1000 sq. ft. plus $25.00 each addition 1000 sq. ft.
​Demolition - $75.00
Signs – new or replacement - $75.00
Communication Tower: Additional  or replacement Antennae - $750.00
​New Antennae - $750.00
​Penalty Fee**: Building without permit first offense - regular fee X 4
Penalty Fee**: Building without a permit Multiple offenses - regular fee X 4 X number of offenses

EXAMPLES of Penalty Fee Calculation with a permit fee of $75.00:
  • 1st offense:  $75.00 x 4 = $300.00 penalty
  • 2nd offense:  $75.00 x 4 x 2 = $600.00 penalty
  • 3rd offense:  $75.00 x 4 x 3 = $900.00 penalty
*​*Penalties apply to owner, contractor, representative or any other entity seeking a permit from the township.

Other Zoning Permits and Fees

Large Event Fee: $500.00 Events charging a participant fee incur an additional annual fee of $1 per registered participant
Private Road Permit: ​​​Includes review by Attorney​ - $500.00
Storm Water:
  • Minor Review - $500.00
  • Major Review - $1,000.00
Barn Storage Permit - $75.00
Farm Processing Permit: Renewal or Replacement - $150.00
Home Occupation Permit - $75.00
Professional Review: Initial Escrow Fee - $4,500.00
​​Zoning Board of Appeals : 
  • Appeal - $1,000.00 - cost may be adjusted if multiple parties are applying (Cost maybe adjusted if multiple parties are applying)
  • Variance Request - $1,000.00 - cost may be adjusted if multiple parties are applying (Cost maybe adjusted if multiple parties are applying)
  • Special Meeting Request - $1,320.00 - cost may be adjusted if multiple parties are applying (multiple party cost)
  • $375.00 - cost may be adjusted if multiple parties are applying

SUP, SUP/PUD, Rezoning: 
  • Base rate 0-5 acres - $730.00
  • 6-40 Acres - $920.00
  • 41-100 acres - $1,280.00
  • 100 acres or more - $1,550.00
SUP/PUD Amendment (Fee due prior to final approval) - $500.00
PUD/Condominium/Subdivision - Area Fee x 1.5
Professional Review Initial Escrow fee - $4,500.00
Planning Commission Special Meeting - $1,200.00

Land Division/Lot Line adjustment, includes Attorney Review - $500.00
Label List Request - $25.00

*Purchase of Development Rights (PDR)

​Reserved Building Site Relocation Non-refundable fees:
  • Base Fee - $1,500.00
  • Additional - $500.00 per lot
Money received for a lot relocation request shall be deposited in the PDR funding for future purchases of PDR property.
*Additional:  Any extra cost incurred by the Township for any fees associated with or in addition to the permit fee, Land Division fee, Zoning Board of Appeals, Planning Department or Planning Commission will be billed to the applicant/owner.
